White Egret Personal Care's Sales Soar After Packaging Redesign
OGDEN, UTAH, June 2014—White Egret Personal Care (WEPC), a Utah-based manufacturer of personal care candles and facial care products for more than 30 years, announces that overall sales are up by 25 percent since December 2013 when the company redesigned its two- and four-pack candle packaging and introduced its unique all-in-one candling kit.
“The new packaging was the culmination of months of work and several attempts to get it just right,” said Ryan Fisher, Owner of WEPC. “Our customers have responded in such a positive manner that we have extended the packaging changes to our full line of candle products.”
In addition to extending the packaging changes to its entire line, it has also decided to patent the packaging design to protect it from being copied by other companies.
“Because of the uniqueness of the packaging, we felt it was important that we protect it by having it patented, which is currently pending,” said Fisher.
The new all-in-one kit includes strike anywhere matches and handmade therapeutic candles that come in different colors, waxes like paraffin and beeswax, and different scents like lavender and an herbal blend. What’s most unique about the new box design is that it unfolds to reveal a protective plate and a holder for the candle. Customers now get everything they need in the new kit without making another purchase.
The new all-in-one candling kits are available in natural and health food stores for an MSRP ranging from $4.99 for a two-pack and $11.54 for a four-pack. The redesign of the candling kit only raised the MSRP an average of 28 cents for a candling two pack.
